Secretroom held it’s Kinky Christmas Party at the Jungle on Saturday, December 5.  It was the first Christmas party of the season, and Secretroom’s last party of the year.

The beautiful and talented Gia Nova performed twice!  First she gave the audiences an aerial act, striking beautiful poses while suspended several feet into the air by aerial silk ribbons, which were red of course.  Her long blond hair dangled in the air while she contorted her body into different shapes.  And, being that she is Gia Nova and not your typical aerialist, she did all of this in a red and black string bikini and gladiator shoes!

In her second performance, Gia paid a visit to the North Pole to tease some of the Santa’s elves with an eggnog routine!  She sat in a giant teacup and had the elves pour eggnog on her while she bathed herself!  I’ve heard of people taking milk baths, but never eggnog!  This routine was highly original and one that will likely be talked about for years.

Between Gia’s two performances was a surprise performance from MASTER DVNT and slave mara moon from Chicago.  They put on one of the best ropes demonstrations that a lot of people have seen!  I overheard one girl saying that she normally wasn’t that into the shows, but that slave mara and DVNT were so captivating that she couldn’t take her eyes off of them!  Indeed, mara did an amazing job with her facial expressions, making it look like she was believably scared and in pain (but we know she was loving it!)  DVNT was also brilliant, furiously tying knots that an Eagle Scout wouldn’t be able untie!

The dance floor was packed all night.

After the ropes performance, the door prizes were given away.  Everyone that paid entry was given a ticket, and winners were drawn at random.  The lucky winners were awarded with amazing gifts such as piercings from Virtue and Vice, tattoos by Loki, gift certificates to Le Petit Morte in Little 5, and other goodies from Liberator and Torvea.  What great prizes!

If you didn’t win a free gift, but still wanted to do some Christmas shopping for yourself or that special someone, Aries Chain Mail was set up in the club store.  Damon Mace, the designer, was happy as always to answer questions anyone might have had about his line.

VJ Anthony and DJ Caz10 teamed up to bring us a unique combination of dance music and Christmas visuals.  I must say I really enjoyed seeing my favorite holiday claymation films set to industrial music!  Apparently everyone else enjoyed it too; the dance floor was packed until well after the lights came up!  No one wanted to leave!

Another year of Secretroom events has come and gone, but 2010 promises to be even better.  With the return of Electrohurtz on January 29, Secretroom is definitely going to rock 2010!
